Anarchy in Greece is a compilation of resistance reports on the ground from 2018 onward, providing rare English-language insights into the country’s anarchist movement and the conditions of Greek society around it.
Spanning cities, villages, squats, and prisons, Anarchy in Greece provides a deeper understanding of the circumstances and struggles, historic and current, that helped to create and define the anarchist movement in Greece, and where it finds itself today. All to demystify the movement, to help the reader learn from its strengths, and to better hone international solidarity efforts.
Most importantly, proceeds from the sale of the book by all its publishers and distributors will be donated to the anti-repression and solidarity group, Tameio: The Solidarity Fund for Imprisoned and Persecuted Revolutionaries in Greece. Tameio has worked for years to offer consistent, various critical solidarity efforts for revolutionaries on trial or experiencing long-term imprisonment.
